BUILD OUR AWARENESS OF PROSPECTS BY OBTAINING OPT-INS.

Some organizations have adopted the concept of “Trading Content for Contact” IE: by offering a free article download/e-newsletter subscription in exchange for granting further communications. The opt-ins are the prime prospects for membership and provides PBS an opportunity to promote and market directly to them regularly.

Sigma should consider this similar means of branding the organization. Every collegiate chapter that we have on colleges and universities should seek to secure the email addresses of their male student population. After securing the addresses news- letters, e-blasts and other communication highlighting the work of the local chapter; as well as, regional and international information could be shared on a monthly basis. This form of communication provides PBS an opportunity to promote and market directly and regularly with the student population and potential members. On an alumni level, chapters should request an secure at least three email addresses from every chapter member of potential members. Once obtained these potential members should receive information regarding Sigma on a monthly basis.
