While it is essential to reactivate, retain, and reclaim brothers, those initiatives don’t necessarily lead to growth. Even with a very successful retention program, we will still have members leave the organization. This is why building a thriving membership acquisition program is fundamental.

Making Recruiting New members a priority. Although it is essential to reactivate, retain, and reclaim brothers, those initiatives dont necessarily lead to growth. Even with very successful retention programs, we will still have members leave the organization. This is why building a thriving membership acquisition program is fundamental. We have a place real emphasis on and examine how we recruit individuals for both the collegiate and alumni levels. When are we designating time to recruit? Where are we recruiting membership? Do we have a unified message as to why we are recruiting? What are we currently doing to recruit and how do we improve upon our current recruitment strategy. As an organization we should be thinking about what is it that we can and should be doing to make Sigma more attractive to members and to the general public. What is that as individual members and as chapters, what can we do to separate us and have us stand out amongst the other fraternities?
